Welcome to Toddlers!

At twelve month, some toddlers are just starting to stand alone and walk, while others have been walking for some time. Younger toddlers may speak just a few words, while older ones may use simple sentences...

By two year old most toddlers can climb, jump, run, and walk up and down the stairs, do a number of fine motor skills, and contribute to many activities. Their growing skills and competence are also accompanied by the ever growing independence.

Our trained and experienced teachers look closely to adjust to toddlers' changing needs. Teachers identify which skills the child needs to focus on more and which activities need to be added to the lesson plan. The normal toddler day starts with greeting the child and using social activities to promote peaceful ways of solving problems. In a day teachers include many opportunities for quiet games and sharing as well as more overt social interactions and communication.
